These are jobs that are easy "on paper" but require experience, precision, from resizing or re-fitting a door to re-glazing a timber window pane, tiling granit tiles on walls, or natural slates on floors...
CARPENTRY / JOINERY
Change a lock, install or remove a partition, install a new wooden floor, build or install new shelves, fitting a cat flap, install a wooden door, convert a flat roof to a pitched roof, install loft stairs...
PAINTING/DECORATING
We're happy to repair plaster, steam wallpaper off, fit wall paper on walls, paint, fit/refit skirting boards
Planet saving projects
We have experience in adobe construction, clay oven building and would welcome partcipation in projects giving priority to natural, local materials with low carbon footprint.
PLUMBING
We can repair leaking taps, sinks, showers, baths.
Fabrication / repairs
WINDOWS/DOORS
We love repairing timber windows! We can also re-glaze, and, if the window panes are of good quality, we can even remodel the frames to install double glazed unit. Just don't ask us to install UPVC windows.
Energy efficiency
Door and window draught proofing, loft insulation
Furniture needing fixing or remodelling? Need a new table made from reclaimed wood? We' can sort it in our joinery workshop.
